Mohawk House

Mohawk house is full of energy and zest, with 5 residents there is never a dull moment.  We have a mix of long-time residents and a couple of newcomers who moved in last year.  The main house consists of 4 men (RJ, PT, CC, and RS) with the lone female in an attached apartment to herself (CP). 

PT currently goes to work at in our Alternative To Employment  - ATE  program..  He works on a variety of projects mainly consisting of shaping, throwing, painting, and firing his own pottery He loves writing speeches to perform for audiences, designing clothes to be made, and a variety of differing business ideas. 

CP enjoys doing a variety of activities with her staff that include Special Olympics softball, bowling, and soccer.  She has enjoyed volunteering, gardening, grooming animals, and playing games and sports of all kinds. 

RS works at Lane Community College.  He has done a variety of jobs there including recycling, laundry, and house-keeping.  RS often provides the comic relief for our home.

CC works at Bagel Sphere downtown, picking up and delivering orders for local businesses.  He takes LTD to and from work independently and enjoys getting out and meeting people. 

RJ goes to Pearl Buck Center and has for years.  He very much enjoys personal affection and likes seeing babies.  He likes to disassemble objects, spin records, listen to music, and play with radios and walkie-talkies.
