G Street

There are currently six gentlemen that reside at the G Street program.  Some have lived together many years and some are newer to the home, but not the agency.  Overall these men are quite independent and active in their daily lives – whether they work several days a week or have other hobbies and activities they regularly engage in.  Some of the hobbies/activities include Special Olympics, classes through Willamalane or the ARC of Oregon, jewelry making and many others.  Some of the clients we serve here are working on moving into Alvord-Taylor’s Supported Living Program (SLP).  The staff are great in that they are always looking for learning opportunities and teaching moments with the guys.  Staff here call it ‘the teaching house’ as we work to improve independence and self reliance in the clients.
